Apart from teaching basic technical elements of film making, we, through this course offer vast and ‘in – depth ‘ know – how on Screenplay Writing( which includes types of narratives and styles of narration, from conventional plot structure to ‘freeky’ non – linear narrations) and Film Direction (which includes basic film grammar, methods of film making varying from Aesthetic films to Commercial ones, with a lot of practical exercises) taking variety of references from the cinema of the world. Though our institute is a simple and humble one, our coaching is “Sincere and Serious” keeping International Standards in mind.
“From Artistic Ecstasy to Cinematic Excellence!
Director Francis Ford Cupola (God Father Fame) told to Director George Lucas (Star Wars Fame) when the later was a Film Student.
“If you want to direct, you got to write”, we in our Visual Media Department tell our students:
“If you want to write, you got to read” Yes. Our objective is to make our students read a lot before attempting to write film scripts, and make them see a lot of world cinema before attempting direct a scene, sequence or a film. Starting with technical knowledge, Continuing with practical training and enriching with creativity, our aim is to make our students understand the language called CINEMA.
